Cet appareil-photo a été fabriqué à Hanovre, où Glunz avaient ses usines, et importé en France par Tiranty.
Le modèle 333 a évolué au cours de son existence. Sur le modèle initial de 1924, il n'y a pas de poignée. Sur le modèle de 1925, il n'y a pas encore le grand viseur en fil métallique ; celui-ci n'apparaît qu'à partir de 1928.
